Condition & Treatment Questions
Do you perform pap smears during a period?
While we prefer to perform a routine pap smear when a patient is not menstruating, it is still often possible to have your pap smear if you have only minor spotting or bleeding.
Can you write a prescription before I see a physician for the first time?
We believe it is not good medical practice for us to prescribe any medication to a non-patient. It is imperative for our clinicians to have a full evaluation of your medical history, current medications, and current gynecological status prior to prescribing medication. We will try to accommodate an earlier appointment, if at all possible, to allow this evaluation in an effort to provide you with the best medical care possible.
