Bernadette’s Bio

Bernadette is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. Bernadette provides ongoing gynecological care for adolescents through menopausal women realizing an educated choice is often a better one. She has practiced in a variety of obstetrical settings to include care during all stages of pregnancy: pre-conceptual planning, antepartum care, labor & delivery, and postpartum, and encompassing all scopes from non-interventional to high-risk clinical care.

In additional her personal real-life family medical learning experiences make her the practitioner she is today. Having often been the consumer with family members receiving health care, she utilizes these experiences to improve her communication and delivery of care. When treatment is necessary, Bernadette equips her patients to have enough information to make their personal best choice possible. She brings this wealth of experience along with her compassion and commitment to enable women to better care for themselves. When you are her patient, you are like her family.

Bernadette integrates her professional practice with personal life experiences through her service activity involvement. She was born prematurely and has volunteered for March of Dimes. Her family experiences with breast cancer unite family members annually for the Y-Me Breast Cancer walk held on Motherís Day.
