Kelly’s Bio
Kelly is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. She brings with her a broad knowledge base including high-risk obstetrics and fetal anomalies, and has practiced extensively in diverse settings. Before earning her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degree, Kelly worked as a Labor & Delivery nurse in hospitals in Milwaukee, California, and here in Chicago. Upon obtaining her degree, Kelly began practicing as a nurse practitioner at Rush University Medical Center, specializing in the management of high-risk pregnancies and fetal anomalies. She came to Nye Partners because of her enthusiasm for health promotion and wellness in women from adolescence through menopause. Her primary objective in ensuring the client’s understanding of her personal health is patient education.
Upholding the firm belief that all women are entitled to receive health care, Kelly has traveled to remote villages in Costa Rica and Belize to provide varied health care services to women living in impoverished communities. Her passion for women’s health has also been exemplified through her involvement on the organizing committee for the Milwaukee Race for the Cure and her participation in the Avon 3-Day Walk for Breast Cancer.
